Having shown the previous paired aerial and ground western Kansas deer habitat
pictures of deer habitat that will appeal most to those that initially aerial
photo scout we now offer two aerials of western Kansas land that has in fact
been the most consistent with eyes-on and tag-on success of trophy whitetail
deer.
This page is offered to insure as much as we can with picture and text for those deer hunting western Kansas not to quickly dismiss land that may not initially appeal to the deer hunter. These two aerial will show a stark lack of trees and seemingly little ground cover. The aerials are deceiving and this private land needs not just foot scouting, but also the willingness to spend a day on stand to see what beds and travels through this country.
This series on western Kansas deer habitat is not an attempt to promote western Kansas deer hunting over that of any other of our regions. This picture series is presented as many hunters overlook what is very good deer country.
