This was my wife's first trip to hunt deer in
[deleted]. She had passed on several smaller bucks waiting for a bigger buck to
show up. On the last day of our hunt, this buck showed up while she was walking
to her tree stand. He is a 14 pointer with a gross score of 152.
I don't know how the property owners are at the
other leases, but the landowners made our hunting trip. They were the nicest
people and they made us feel right at home.
I did get lucky and take a nice 10 pointer, but
not nearly as big as my wife's.
