Tom

Hi John,

Enclosed is the photo. Sorry about the quality -- we forgot to take a picture before we loaded him in the truck. The boy on the pulling end is my 10 year old son Nick.

The buck has only a 17" spread, but has two matched non-typical tines branching out from the main beam, making him a 12 point. Reverse drop tines I guess, except the beam is palmated where they start. They appear forked in the photo but are not.

I watched a larger racked buck with 2'3" of daylight between his ear tips and the curve of his beam on the crest of a hill. When this one appeared on the bottom I shot him as he came broadside not perceiving it was a second buck. It was our last day hunting and I didn't want to put him back...

I appreciate all your help. We had a great time. Hope to see you in the field some time.

Best,

Tom
