The deer was laying down when I saw it. I waited for a while for it to get up so I could see if it was a shooter. After waiting I realized it wasn't going to get up, so I got a little closer , that's when I saw it was trying to get up but couldn't. So I decided to shoot it and put it out of its misery, not knowing what the real size of the deer was. I was quite pleased with the results. The deer had lost a lot of its body weight and its neck wasn't swollen. I didn't know what was wrong with it. So I took it to the locker to be processed and donated to the hungry. When I arrived at the locker it was determined that the deer had suffered a broken neck probably during a fight with another buck. Ronnie
