...My son turned 13 on Nov. 4th and I had promised to take him on the youth hunt this year. I added him to my membership but because of a new job, I thought we would not have the opportunity to go...but I managed to put together a short hunt requiring me to drive 12 hours starting early Friday morning. I placed him in a stand Friday evening while I hung 2 stands in a tree for the youth hunt, tough day on 2 hours sleep. Saturday we stayed in the woods all day and in the evening a young buck finally came by. Since we only had 1.5 days to hunt, I gave him the option to take it and he didn't hesitate to say yes...
