Before criticizing the quality of the picture understand how it was attained. The picture is from one of the Association partners camera that is pocket sized and carried whenever out working the land. It is not a picture from a high quality long lens camera.
The immediate habitat, a cut wheat field as opposed to winter wheat, just west of the next photo below this one showing bedding area where the Mule Deer was jumped from.
