On BowhuntingJon and MAHA Staff,I just wanted to drop you a note to thank you for a great hunting experience and season. This was my 1st year hunting with the association and I cannot be more pleased with the way the hunting season went for me. I was able to hunt several weekends through archery season and had great times each time. The game I saw was awesome and I never seen any other hunters. The places I hunted seemed to have very little pressure. I did not take a buck this year but that's not from seeing them. I had two chances at 2 big bucks and couldn't get things to come together and passed a lot of lesser bucks. I have several mounts in my den and I only draw the bow if it is a 150 class deer or better so chances are always greater I don't draw my bow and that's with anywhere I hunt. I came to the Association because I was tired of having to fight each day of the year to keep and hang on to good hunting ground. This year was painless the staff was very nice and it was no problem setting up places and times to hunt. No, I didn't get big daddy to hang on the wall but I did see lots of animals not just deer, but turkey, pheasants, ducks, geese, and coyotes. Oh yes and some awesome sunrises and sunsets. I have never turkey hunted much but this year I am looking forward to trying more of that as well as some shed hunting. I grew up there and I have hunted some very good properties in the state but what you have there is as good as it gets. Next year I will be more prepared and I think I will connect on one!!! Then again we are talking about a bow at some big deer so chances are I wont, but there will always be those sunrises and sunsets!! This Association was just what you said it was. Nothing more and nothing less. I wish everything was that way. Keep up the god work.
