Traveling from as far east as one can be without living on a boat Mike is the
best example of perseverance there could possibly be. Having weathered more than
one downsizing in a plant where he has spent a lifetime career, having a series
of misfortunes while deer hunting and still he travels two days worth of driving
for the escape he gains by having a chance to hunt deer he cannot back home.
Good luck to you Mike, you certainly work hard at it! Thank you for sharing and
showing us a good example.
The photo of the deer from the below is pretty much what it looked like when I shot him. Didn't realize he was missing a G3. Who looks at the antlers anyhow?*) Tell Jon I am very grateful to him for putting me in that spot. I messed up on another buck a little bigger than this one!. I was on the ground and got caught. Oh, well!
Shows that a first time mid-west hunter from the east coast can hunt with success. Real deer hunters have this capability even those with limited time and at great travel distance.
