Kevin on deer hunting

From Michigan

Dear Jon,

Well, it seems another season is soon to come to a close and I just wanted to drop you a note and some pictures. Tad and I had a lot of fun with the turkeys in the spring. It is safe to say a couple of gobblers were on the wrong end of the barrel, so to speak. The beards were long and the spurs were sharp, just the way we like it!

The fall season went very well; as good as we have had in recent memory. I have enclosed some pictures of our successful hunts for your enjoyment. We had very good opportunities to take trophy class bucks. We just seemed to be in the right place at the right time on several occasions. One could not ask for more antlers!

The pheasants gave us a bit of a challenge, which is good. If they come too easy it takes the fun out of it. We managed to limit a day or two (keep in mind we don't have the luxury of a dog) anyway. The quail seemed to jump in front of our gun barrels and oh what a treat that is.

I wanted to let you know once again how much we have enjoyed our hunting with Mid-America Hunting Association. I can't think of a better situation for the avid hunter. The opportunities available are more numerous than most hunters could take advantage of in a lifetime. I would encourage anyone considering membership to take advantage of it. Every day/season that goes by is another opportunity lost to have the hunting/fishing experience of a lifetime.

Sincerely,

Kevin
