We Offer Deer Hunting
- Quality deer harvest is the Association hunters' decision

Mike, a 20 year member with another exceptional trophy trophy whitetail. He's one of the few club members that consistently produces trophy deer hunting on foot vs. a tree stand.
On the up side our approach to leasing land for the self guided hunter brings into our leases those deer hunters willing to travel and pay to hunt with most seeking their own personal best trophy deer then that aspect by itself leads to lesser bucks being passed on. Our hunters being of the subclass of the self guided types are far more wanting of bigger deer than what many consider the average public lands deer hunter where the common phrase of: "If it's brown it's down." and "Any rack is a good rack." dominates.
The bottom line is that we offer deer hunter, we attract the self guided hunter, we are not at point of harvest to run controls and as such each deer hunter is free to enter in at whatever trophy level he is at and grow upwards from that point. Most of the seasoned hunters attracted to our organization are well beyond the ego stage of hunting and into the quality aspect of the hunt and the opportunity sought is that to get a chance at a true trophy.
Traveling Deer Hunter
John,
Just wanted to send an update from my Midwest 2007 hunt. Yet again I must commend you and the MAHA Staff for doing such an exceptional job. I am so glad that I found this organization. I had more success this year on my [location deleted] bow hunt. I hunted in [location deleted] on a piece of property that is fantastic. It is up for sale, unfortunately, and that is bad news. Nonetheless, it was an awesome hunt. As usual the big ones would just not cooperate. I saw a monster 5 x 5 almost every day that I hunted. I just could not get into position for a shot. I saw a lot of big 4 x 4's and almost got an awesome one on the first day of the hunt. On day six or seven, cant remember, this 4 x 4 came into my shooting lane at 32 yards. It was 330 PM and it was snowing pretty hard. It made for a pretty cool hunt.
Thanks, again for what you guys do. I truly get excited every year knowing that I have the ability to go out to the midwest and tackle those big deer. Enclosed are some pics of my [location deleted] bow kill. They are a little dark but they aren't to bad.
Happy Holidays, John
