Deer Mounts

We prefer to show deer in the field with the hunter. However, in cases of a good story or rack we will show the mount.

Our past performance has been to reject 16 to 29% of all who have applied based on time tested screening criteria. We do not advertise our screening criteria to prevent it from being circumvented. This makes the Association an even better place to hunt.

Some hunters harvest a trophy on their first hunt. Several have harvested several trophies in a few years. Others go many years before getting the deer of their lifetime.

The greatest majority of our hunters are brought into the Association from their friends that are current members. These applicants get priority for membership over others.

We usually have a rush on applications as the season gets closer.

The bottom line is to apply early and to initiate the membership if allocated.

Todd Yohe

A successful varmint and fur bearer hunter Todd also does very well on deer. This is just one of his pictures of the 7 archery and 10+ rifle deer he has harvested since becoming a member in 1994. In the case of this deer he harvested it after passing on it earlier in the week as he was hunting a larger buck estimated to be a 12 point with a drop tine and large enough for B&C. When the larger buck turned out to be elusive he harvested this one on the last day of the hunt on which he saw 11 bucks.
