Private Land Natural Missouri Whitetail Deer Hunting On Your Own
This aerial is of a part of a 1,700 acre lease and shows approximately 400 acres in timber in a Missouri region know for quality whitetail deer. While a good piece of wooded ground the timber is not uniformly of any one size of tree or density. The places of the largest trees are indicated by the darker spots. These trees are just about as big as any trees to be found anywhere with a lot of open ground under them. The lighter vegetation area is of a mixture of various size trees and general brush. Other points of interest are the surrounding smaller patches of timber and the irregular shape of all wooded areas. This indicates the contours are variable with much slope. Overall the right mixture of scrub, bush and trees surrounded by food source crop grounds giving the deer all they need in a relatively small area. Spend a week on this ground and the hunter may be able to cover a tenth of the woods. Husband & Wife Partners
Two in one day from their favorite spot. The benefits of being able to return to the same area every year allows for pattering and developing locations for good success. Another benefit if the first spot scouted does not pan out, members can quickly adjust and move to another location, county or even state. A benefit of belonging to a co-op that guides services with limited acreage can not provide. One Big Buck
If you have a bad back you'd better go for some help to drag out a trophy like this.
