InterviewHunters with some skill level are required as we are not a guide service or even a limited guide service. We are a private land access service that will get the hunter into the right habitat and after that it is up to the Association hunter to make his own hunt. We further manage the land so as to prevent competition and over hunting, however it is the hunter that must do the hunting. In addition to the screening criteria above there are some specific criteria dependent upon the applicant's primary and secondary hunting interest. These criteria are different for each game type and we do not advertise them to prevent circumventing what has worked for the Association since 1965. Call us for a simple interview that is also as much a presentation about our
organization intending to prevent any surprises after someone is accepted as a
member. Rack Quality When thinking this organization is "Too good to be true!" remember to keep things in perspective. This is a hunt on your own private land access Association, not a guide service. Depend on the Association staff to get you to the right habitat and that is all. Once there there it is the hunter that must decide how to hunt and on his own. If new to this part of the country spend some time in our
scouting section to review the variety of deer habitat that exists in the mid
west.
Your
membership pays for the land managers to identify, track and maintain those properties in
regions where we get big deer. This saves the hunter's time of doing the research.
Hunters must still scout, select their own stand(s) and apply their own whitetail
tactics to harvest a good deer.
Those
with the most basic hunting skill only require the opportunity to apply it. We
provide that opportunity. However, do not except anyone to lead any hunter by
the hand. |
