Sorry
for the delay in getting a picture to you guys. It has been kind of hectic at
home after returning from our trip. Here is a photo of the 11 pointer I
harvested. I got him after 3 1/2 days of hunting in [location deleted]. We had a
great time, took one doe and one buck in 5 days of hunting. The buck grossed
over 153 with 4 tines over 10 inches. As new members we just came out to hunt with nothing more then an idea and some hope. After only a few hours on the ground we had ideas on where to hunt. The hunting was better then we could have hoped for even with temperatures in the 70's a few days. There was very little signs of hunting pressure. Keep up the great work as we as members will never know all of the headaches you guys deal with everyday. We are already planning a turkey hunt this spring as to get in some scouting this year instead going in blind. We rode by and looked at a few other properties in and around [location deleted] and are already looking forward to walking them next year. I hope the club looks toward replacing the few we lost this past year in [location deleted] as we have a few friends interested in joining next year and hunting the same general area too. Thanks for everything, Brent Another Season John, Attached are few
pictures of a few bucks we took this year off of club property. We did not have
the luck in taking the size of bucks we have in the past, but we had a great
time no matter. I did miss a real nice buck at two yards from the base of the
tree while hunting in Iowa. I will only say that hitting your knee cap with the
lower cam from a bow during the shot does not feel too great, and what really
feels bad is when the buck is still standing there at two yards looking at your
arrow on the ground beside him.
