Bow Hunting The Late Season
Bow hunters need not hesitate to hunt after the modern firearms season. The modern
rifle season is short and in Kansas and Iowa the tags limited to the point the
gun hunters do not drive the deer into nocturnal movement found typical in
states with large numbers of deer hunters over a long season. Bird hunters place
far more hunter presence in the field for a much longer period of time than deer
hunters. This conditions deer to ignore hunters as those with bird dogs do the
same while in pursuit of pheasant and quail.
Vehicle Access
Foot hunting and
scouting only. No other activity does so sour landowner relationships than
driving vehicles onto private property.
Hunting vehicles
will be parked parallel to the road boarding the property or just inside
and off to the side of a gate (allow tractor access through the gate). Do not
drive vehicles into or across Association facilities. The only exception is to
retrieve a properly tagged deer and only if the ground is frozen or dry and no
ruts will be left and no standing crops will be crossed.
No Guarantees
No game production guarantees. All we promise is to put hunters on game productive
habitat in historically large deer areas. We offer the real hunter the opportunity
to hunt quality animals the way hunting should be - the application of the
hunter's own skill.

No guides, dogs or lodge -- just bowhunting.
Jim with a P&Y. Congratulations Jim for your
determined efforts to earn this trophy.
