Dan Primitive Bow Hunter

A veteran taxidermist and successful primitive bowhunter tagged this 140 class P&Y Missouri whitetail his first bowhunting season as a member. It was his second day in his deer stand on Association property.

Out-of-state hunters can drop off their deer with Dan, get a quality mount and have it shipped home. This is typically better than dealing with the air lines and a green skin. Dan is available every day during of the season.

The deer at right was tagged off a small property overlooked for many years for its lack of timber. What keyed our recommendation to deer hunt this property came from a bird hunter's report of a significant rub line. This information was passed to one of our deer hunters and this is the result. Before this, the property was never deer hunted as it was considered an upland bird hunting property. The development of significant and recent rub lines has proven to be successful trophy spots in the past.

The only Association land not available to deer bowhunters are our managed wetlands for waterfowl hunting. Whitetail areas as small as 10 acres to over 2,000 acres have produced exceptional deer. Case in point is the trophy at left came from a small property in the right area.
