Deer bow hunting in Kansas and Iowa is widely known across the
nation for producing trophy deer. Missouri sits between these other two states
and produces deer of the same quality. This deer gallery consists of deer from
all three states.
Matt
A good bow hunter, with the whitetail he harvested the first year as a member. While
first year success is not the routine it certainly happens frequently enough to
grab our attention.
Doug
Up from Oklahoma
An exceptional
archery harvest. No doubt this deer makes the books.
This bowhunter hunted hard for two years and passed up many smaller bucks to
harvest this trophy.
The deer of choice means our archery season is
long and overlaps the pre-rut, early rut, peak and post rut. Match this to the
choice of habitat possibilities of bedding, feed, funnel, crop predominate and
large contiguous timbered areas and this allows the skilled hunter to match the
deer to the habitat for that time of season. This combined with hunter's
ability to hunt as often as desired provides the skilled hunter with all the
opportunity that could possibly be expected.
